We need your help!

Do you have an interesting story? Want others to know? Then send us your story!

On the Buzz, we want to have lots and lots of stories from deaf young people like you!

It can be about anything from the help you have had school, going to a festival to the first time you met up with new friends!

We would love to know your stories! By putting your story on the Buzz, you will be helping other deaf young people who might need your help and support.

But it doesn’t have to be just about helping others – it can be how you have achieved something! Like passing your driving test or getting a medal in your favourite sport!

What does achieve mean?

Achieve is when you reach something you have been working really hard on or when you have won something!

It can be you worked really hard at school to get your GCSE’s or you won the best long jump in your school!

Interested? Want to know how?

Check out our instructions on how you can send your story! You can send us some text, pictures, or a video of you telling us your story!

The video can be BSL, SSE or speech – do what makes you feel comfortable. If you want, you can do all three of those things!

  • Send your story to
  • When we have made sure you’re happy with the story and we are too, we can post it on the Buzz website!
  • If we can help you with writing, or tips and tricks for making a good video, get in touch.
  • We will email you back about your story and share when it has gone online!
  • The story will also be shown on our Buzz Facebook page and maybe even our NDCS Twitter, Facebook or Instagram!
  • Make sure you are ok and happy to send us your story, with pictures and videos and if you need to, check with your parents too! (If you have others in your pictures, check they’re happy for it to be shared)
  • Then you can tell all your friends, family and school to read your story!
