Want to know more about how technology can help you at school or work? Interested in finding what works for you?
You can join one of our online events this January!
It can sometimes be difficult to know what technology is available and how it can support you. The good news is there are lots of options and we can help you find out all about them!
We are hosting two online events all about how technology can help you in everyday life.
We will be talking about communication support and how to get funding to cover the costs. At the end of the session you can also ask your own questions!
Our events are a great opportunity to talk to other deaf young people and find out more about what technology can help you.
Who can take part?
You can register for our events if you are:
- Deaf
- 13 – 25 years old
You will also need to have access to a computer, smartphone or tablet, and an internet connection.
When are the events?
We are running two events on the same topic. Which session you join depends on your age:
- 13 – 17 years old on Wednesday 20 January at 5 – 6pm
- 18 – 25 years old on Thursday 21 January at 5 – 6pm
Where are the events taking place?
The events take place on Zoom. Once your place is confirmed, we will send all the information you need to join. Only people who have registered can attend the event.
Although your camera will be off during the session, you can still get involved, ask questions and share your own experiences through the chat box. One of the team will be on hand to answer questions throughout. This will be moderated.
Communication support
Closed captioning is available for all our online events as well as BSL interpreters.
