How do you feel about getting a job? Excited? Anxious? Want to know more about the workplace and different careers?
We are hosting two online events all about the workplace and being deaf. We will talk about different jobs and how to solve common workplace problems.
We will also be joined by deaf people working in different roles. They will share their experiences and tell you their top tips. They can also answer any questions you have!
Our events are a great opportunity to talk to other deaf young people and find out more about careers and the workplace.
Who can take part?
You can register for our events if you are:
- 13 – 25 years old
You will also need to have access to a computer, smartphone or tablet, and an internet connection.
When are the events?
We are running two events on the same topic. Which session you join depends on your age:
Where are the events taking place?
The events take place on Zoom. Once your place is confirmed, we will send all the information you need to join. Only people who have registered can attend the event.
Although your camera will be off during the session, you can still get involved, ask questions and share your own experiences through the chat box. One of the team will be on hand to answer questions throughout. This will be moderated.
